Valmont Bike Park - Boulder Colorado

This is an amazing mountain bike park built on 40 acres. Very impressive use of the space and looks like lots of fun!

Valmont Bike Park, Boulder Colorado

The park was built by the City of Boulder Parks and Recreation Department on land acquired with a ballot initiative in 1996.  In 2006, the Parks Department sought community wide input on the best use of Valmont Park site and they recognized the demand for in town cycling.  Park construction was planned, and construction began in March 2010.  The land consists of 132 acres, 40 of which are being developed as a bike park on the corner of Valmont and Airports Roads.
