Ride Like A Girl

Come ride with the Austin Ridge Riders and Ride Like A Girl. We are joining the ladies on a weekend co-ed ride at Pace Bend Park in Spicewood. Look for the ARR Banner after you pass the main trail head and just beyond Bathroom 11.
ARR Board member and Pace Bend Trail Steward Leif Dove has been busy. With the help of Travis County Park staff and his cohort and collaborator Jay Blincoe, some of the tabletops and dirt landings have been reworked and some of the warped boards on the wood structures have been replaced. We all know that Pace Bend is always a great place to ride so these improvements can only make a great riding experience mega awesome.
In addition to be wonderful flora and fauna, the ladies of Ride Like A Girl will be going the ride and I am not afraid to say that not only to the ladies consistently impress with their riding skills, they almost always bring some of the most scrumptious contributions to the post-ride lunch.
Everyone is encouraged to bring something to share (fruit, sides, chips, dips, etc.)
Riders will break into groups based on skill level, length of ride and whether one wants to rips up the trails or ride at a social pace and smell the flowers. "No Drop" policy in effect so no one gets left behind or lost.
All participants must sign a waiver, properly wear a helmet when on a bike and have water during the ride.
You do NOT have to be a member of ARR to participate. We certainly encourage everyone to show support the club and/or give back to the trail in some form so we'll have plenty of Membership Forms on hand and we'll be happy to accept your dues onsite.
Members in good standing will be
reimbursed the Day Fee.
Day Use Permit per vehicle per day: $10.00
Carpooling is strongly encouraged!!
In order to help us get a head count, it would be most helpful if you email arrwebsite@gmail.com to let us know you are attending, use the Sign Up function on the Event on the ARR Website or indicate on the Meet Up Group or Facebook that you are "In!".
No need to RVSP on all sources....it confuses me. :(
