Judi Ronkartz

Judi has been mountain biking for about 10 years getting started as a regular at Ride Like a Girl, and then racing the TMBRA Series from 2005-2007.  Judi served as ARR Vice President in 2006 and then President for 5 years, 2007- 2011. After 5 years of leading the club through significant growth and prosperity, it is an excellent time for her to transition to a support role.  “We’ve got great momentum right now. …a solid Board, happy riders, enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers, more new trails, great sponsors, strong partnerships and endless opportunities for continued success.  As Past President, I will continue my involvement and look forward to another great year for ARR! ”

Under Judi’s leadership, ARR has been able to enhance our presence in the general community and our reputation with land managers and owners. Judi’s personality is a unique blend of assertiveness and subtlety> When representing the club she exemplifies diplomacy, tact, and competence. Judi has been highly successful in winning grants for the club and her abilities for long-term planning and improvements are the primary reason for the club’s growth and success over the past 6 years. While she graciously declined a nomination for a third term as President, we are fortunate and grateful that she will continue her involvement as Immediate Past President and assist for a smooth transition without any loss of momentum to the club’s long-term goals.
