Muddy in Spots

The trails are generally in great shape.  The wildflowers have made some areas a bit hard to follow, but the ranch plans on weedeating many of these area soon.

There is water ruinning across the rock in many places, and some places, the rocks are getting slick.  The wet rock that is still pink is still grippy, but if a dark green layer has formed, beware.  It will be slick.

RPR is starting a list for persons interested in volunteering for trail work.  Incentives for trail work will include trail passes, jerseys, etc.  Contact Cindy at RPR for details.

The Austin Ridge Riders hit a home run with this one.  The trail is a masterpiece.  The facilities superb.  RPR is arguably the best trail in Texas.  Incredible grip on the granite and lots of fun interesting features the whole way along the trail.  Constant surprising, fun, scenic, unworldly terrain.  Truly unique.  A jewel among the many treasures we have in central Texas.
