Austin Ridge Riders was established in 1987 with the purpose of bringing our riding community together on local trails. We are stoked to now boast close to 600 members and a portfolio that includes decades of trail advocacy in Central Texas. We build, we ride, we grow.
Speaking of growth, now is the perfect time for riders to become a new member, or renew their membership! As a local chapter of the International Mountain Biking Association, we are participating in the Trails 2024 fall membership drive which gives you an opportunity to be entered to win one of several prize packages courtesy of some pretty awesome partners who care about trails too! Already a member of another trails organization? You can now join multiple chapters!

About Austin Ridge Riders
Austin Ridge Riders is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit mountain bike club organized by volunteers. Our mission is to develop trails by promoting trail stewardship in cooperation with local land managers, improve mountain bike awareness and access, and bring people together to build a strong off road cycling community.
We maintain relationships with the multiple local governments like City of Austin and City of Cedar Park, Travis and Williamson Counties, and private land owners like Forrest Creek Ranch and Rocky Hill. We build new trails and maintain existing trails at locations like Walnut Creek, Brushy Creek, Pace Bend and Reimers Ranch and so many more.
Our Trails Program teaches local volunteers trailbuilding and maintenance essentials while our Ride Program fosters a strong sense of community with weekly and monthly group rides, events, and clinics - and we offer a women-only ride program, Ride Like a Girl which provides a nurturing environment for women of all skill levels. You can learn more about what we do here.
We are a local chapter of the International Mountain Biking Association.
About IMBA
The International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) creates, enhances and protects great places to ride mountain bikes. It is focused on creating more trails close to home to grow the quantity and quality of mountain bike trail communities across the U.S., so everyone has access to close-to-home rides and iconic backcountry experiences. Since 1988, IMBA has been the worldwide leader in mountain bike advocacy and the only organization focused entirely on trails and access for all types of mountain bikers in all parts of the U.S. IMBA teaches and encourages low-impact riding, grassroots advocacy, sustainable trail design, innovative land management practices and cooperation among trail user groups. IMBA U.S. is a national network of local groups, individual riders and passionate volunteers working together for the benefit of the entire community.
